Gardens and Lens-Artist Challenge #147

So Amy over at Lens-Artist Challenge has another great challenge this week, Unfortunatley I have not found any gardens over here on the Coast yet like we have up in the Portland Area, But I do have plenty of captures from when we lived up in the Portland area.

The Japanese Gardens up in Washington Park is my favorite to visit, especially in the Fall when all the colors are at their peak.

So here is my submission for this week. The Japanese Gardens at Washington Park.

    1. Thank you. I happen to have shot these captures in 2 separate seasons in 2 different years. The first 2 was fall of 2017 it was so crowded it was difficult to get the shot i wanted. The last 2 was Feb 8 2015, my birthday, my husband was still recovering from a Traumatic Brain Injury and I was in need of a break. The serenity of the gardens was what I needed..

  1. No one does gardens like the Japanese IMHO, and this is a wonderful example of their many innovations. Serenity is always the feeling with which one leaves a Japanese garden, Lovely images.
